Job Outlook for 2011

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC)-it may be time to Dust off your resume and jump start your job search, as economists say 2011 may be years in which the job. Economists predict the economy continues to grow and become stronger, and more, companies will start to recruit new staff. "We have seen over the past two months, a significant increase in the hiring of a full-time workers, "said UAB Economist Dr. Bob Robicheaux,-which is a good development; the last survey of Manpower Employment Outlook confirms employers in Alabama is planning to hire more employees in 2011. All employers who interviewed say 14% plan to increase staffing levels, while only 9% say they plan to reduce staff levels; Dr. Robicheaux agreed full-time rentals may be slow at first, but it will happen. "We are probably some companies are part-time, because it gives them flexibility," said Dr. Robicheaux, "which is a stage prior to reorganization and hiring large numbers."

Dr. Robicheaux predicts the rent will be in health care, education and production, and that salaries will increase in 2011.
